Curved Screens are applied for separating Solids from process and Wastewater. The curved Screens are robustly built and required the minimum maintenance and attention. The Raw water pumped over a curved, wedge wire Screen plate where separated particles slide down, due to gravity and the screened water leaves the screen via the outlet. The Screen can be equipped with a programmable spray cleaning device in case of wastewater contains fiber like material or Fat. The screen is built with stainless steel wedge wire mesh from 0,25 mm to 1,5 mm to remove any solids above this mesh size.
Curved bar screens are designed with bars that are arranged in a curved shape to improve the flow of water or wastewater. The curve provides a more efficient collection of debris and particles compared to straight bar screens.
