It is designed for combined action of separation of solids presence in the effluent, as well compaction and dewatering of screened solids. Its have shaft less design and simultaneously cleaned by cleaning brush. Screw screen are mainly used in the mechanical purification stage of municipal and industrial sewage treatment plants.
Automatic screw screens are designed to automatically remove large debris from wastewater without manual intervention. They consist of a screw conveyor that lifts solids from the water, where they are then discharged.
